About the Instructor
Born and raised in California, I was one of very few that grew up with firearms. This made me the go-to “gun guy” among friends. I often shared my knowledge of gun safety and etiquette.
At the age of 22, I enlisted in the United States Navy. That led to 6 years as an Aviation Rescue Swimmer, where I logged 928 flight hours in the back of the Navy’s MH60S (Seahawk) helicopter. My job duties included aerial gunnery in support of Special Operations missions, crew/cabin management, and overland/in-water Search And Rescue (SAR) operations. I spent most of my active-duty time in the US territory, Guam. From Guam, I had the pleasure of going on 3 separate deployments to 4 different ships.
My ambition is to educate the public, to preserve our second amendment right. Education is the way forward. Laws will never stop a person with malicious goals. Arm yourself with the knowledge and tools to be resilient in the worst of times.
